String of Pearls

Here are the 8 characteristics of Heavenly Wisdom, a beautiful string of pearls!

1.  It is pure!

“He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.  He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior.”  ~Psalm 24:4-5

2.  It is peace-loving!

“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.”  ~Psalm 119:165

3.  It is considerate!

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”  ~Philippians 2:3-4

4.  It is submissive!

“Submit to one another out of reverence to Christ!”  ~Ephesians 5:21

5.  It is full of mercy!

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”  ~Luke 6:36

6.  It is fruitful!

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”  ~Proverbs 11:30

7.  It is impartial!

“If a king judges the poor with fairness; his throne will always be secure.”  ~Proverbs 29:14

8.  It is sincere!

“Love must be sincere.  Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves.”  ~Romans 12:9-10
