What Faith Can Do

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

Declaring God’s Faithfulness

For the Lord Most High is to be feared [and worshiped with awe-inspired reverence and obedience]; He is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2, AMP)

This week has been somewhat crazy for me, so I have not been able to get out the kind of devotionals I was planning on. Normally, I do a lot of studying before I write a single devotional. And I do my best to get all the devotionals done at least a week in advance. Well, life has done what it sometimes does. It’s turned my world upside down. It’s all good! “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything.”

2.  If you need wisdom, memorize James 1:5-6.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him.  But when he asks, he must not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”
