No Complaining

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. (Philippians 2:14-15)

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about complaining and what it really means when we complain against anything.  Is not every complaint a direct complaint against God?  Is there a single complaint that does not carry with it a weight of consequence?  The consequence being something or someone is put down in our lives.  In this case, I feel that every complaint is a put down to God and actually insulting to the provision He has given us.

Content or Discontent

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Reflecting the Father

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. (1 Thessalonians  4:11-12)

Make it your AMBITION:

1.  To lead a quiet life ~ we should all consider it an honor to live for God.  May the actions we live out daily speak of our Lord and Saviour.  In quietness, there is strength.  Be aware of your actions, as each one does speak loudly of the one you serve.  Serve in love moment by moment, breath by breath. Our actions often speak louder than our words.  What are your actions saying to those who are around you?
