Good Enough

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:4-5)

Today I was taking a test that I have taken many times, but God showed me something new.  Have you ever had that happen?  It’s happened to me many times!  I’m so glad God can find new ways to speak to us even through the mundane things we have to do in life.  The test included some loud noises that made me think of the above verse.  In this world, we have to hear many things.

Content or Discontent

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. In the Refiner’s Fire

He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver… (Malachi 3:3)

Today, I am taking some of my devotional from an email my husband received.  He read it to me and I knew it was a perfect way to start the week.  I pray it touches you, as it has touched me.  Here it is:

The above verse puzzled a group in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.  One of them offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

My True Identity
