The Lord is God

Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created man on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other.  Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? 33 Has any other people heard the voice of God speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived? 34 Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders,by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

Ooze with God’s Love

Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one [the only God]!  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, AMP)

I want to take 30 days to study what it means to “Love God with all my heart, soul, and strength”.  I want to find out where my life is honoring God in this command and where I’m lacking.  By the end of 30 days, I want to have a greater love for God.  I want to truly understand the sacrifice His Son made on my behalf and appreciate it.

(2 Corinthians 9:8, AMP)

The series will be on the Greatest Commandment that has been given to us.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.  The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.  (Psalm 145:13)

We are half way through our Proverbs study, so I want to check in with you.  What’s God doing in your life?  How has God increased your wisdom through the study of the Proverbs?  I would love to hear all about it.  May we put Proverbs 27:17 into action which says,

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)

Let’s sharpen one another with the Word of God this week!  I’ll start by sharing what God is doing in my life through this study.
