Peace of Mind
My newest book Victorious Mindset will be coming out this week. The official release date is April 14th. To celebrate this new book release, I would like to share a few devotionals from the book. This book is a 30 day devotional sharing how to have a mind set on Christ and be victorious over the things that we face in life. The Victorious Living Collection would not be complete without sharing how to have a mind set on Christ. I continue to enjoy this series of books so much and am so appreciative to God for giving me each book to write. Thank you God! I pray that these books will bring You glory and lift the name of Jesus high!
Peace of Mind
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
Live It Out
The way to obtain perfect peace is to keep our minds on Christ. The only way to keep our minds steadfast on God’s work is through His Word. We must renew our minds daily and wash them with the Word of God. The world will continue to bombard you with it’s thoughts and ideas for you. You can overcome it all by reading God’s Word and applying it.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
We overcome this world by setting our minds on Christ. We must remember that the One who lives inside of us is greater than the one who lives in this world. We have the power to overcome every scheme of the enemy by keeping our minds cleansed by God’s Word.
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:5–6)
Pray It Through
Lord, I desire to live according to the Spirit and have my mind fixed on the things of You. Please control my mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit and enable me to have this mind set on life and peace in You! I pray that my mind will be a tool for You and You alone!
Blessed are the single-hearted, for they shall enjoy much peace… If you refuse to be hurried and pressed, if you stay your soul on God, nothing can keep you from that clearness of spirit which is life and peace. In that stillness you know what His will is. (Amy Carmichael)
