Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

You’re invited to the Victorious Christian Life Party!

When: Now!

Scripture says, “Therefore, there is NOW no condemnation…”  Right now is the time to live in a place of victory.  Satan often wants to take us down the road of regret.  The place of what if’s, if only’s, shoulda, coulda, and woulda’s.  God doesn’t live there!  God lives in the right now.  He is here waiting for us to join Him in the party.  What kind of party is it? Worthy of Imitation

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Does Scripture ever just grab a hold of your heart and not let go?  Well, tonight that’s what this passage is doing for me.  I’ve read it quite a few times before, but tonight it’s convicting me in a new way.  This passage of Scripture has dug down deep in to my heart and not let go.  God’s Word has a way of doing that when we spend time in it.  God constantly wants to renew us through it and bring us to a new understanding of who He is and can be in our lives.  So come with me through this devotional and find out what this passage means for us!

The Power of Life and Death

A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered. (Proverbs 17:27)

Broken Pieces Make…

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.  One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:  ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’  Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. (Matthew 22:34-40

…a Beautiful Work of Art in the Master’s Hands!!!

Take time to imagine what it would have been like to be an eye witness on this crime scene.  Here Jesus is, a man without sin, healing the sick, casting out demons, feeding the hungry, teaching the lost, and those who were more concerned about the law tried to trap Him.  They didn’t like how He showed up on the scene.  They wanted to expose Him as a fraud, so they continued to scheme behind the scenes.   When Jesus silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees decided to take a shot at Him.  They even sent their very best to ask the question they thought would get Jesus into trouble.
