Hit a Home Run

To say that today has been interesting would be an under statement.  I realized that posting a devotional about Jesus Christ being the only way to Heaven would present an open door for people to offer feedback or disagree.  I have had one very interesting conversation take place with a man who is practicing Buddhism.  He feels that Christians are very closed minded and the devotional didn’t sit well with him.  He left a comment for me to find this morning.  This has reminded me of the verse above.

Do you have the TIME?

Today was a day of celebration.  My husband and I headed to the beach after church today to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.  Every where I went I made sure to say, “Happy Resurrection Day!”  There is a difference between this and Happy Easter!  It all started at breakfast with our waitress.  She said, “Happy Easter” and I said “Happy Resurrection Day!”  She said, “You’re right, that’s what it’s all about!”  It was an exciting beginning, especially after a great service at church.  Our pastor talked about the things in this world that we thirst for and the only thing that can truly quench our thirst is Jesus.  Read more
