Forever Strength in God

Whom have I in heaven but you?  And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25-26 

The days that I live on this earth are but passing moments, compared to eternity.  This earth really doesn’t have anything I desire in comparison to all the things that Heaven has stored up for me.  I desire to do my Father’s will.  To honor His heart on this earth.  He sent His Son to be a living sacrifice, an atonement for the sins that I make daily.  My flesh is weak and I often fail, but God still comes through on a daily basis for me.  He has never failed me and I know that He never will.

God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him. We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake. Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains.

Jacob-wrestling God fights for us,
    God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.

Shield
