Break Free from the Sin Prison

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:5-6)

This week has kind of had the same theme going.  The Lord has really been speaking to my heart about sin.  How do we get rid of it and run a better race?  How do we draw close to God by seeking forgiveness for our sins?  And now I’m challenged to write about the commission on our lives to share with others the peace that passes all understanding when they too partake of casting their sins away and asking for forgiveness.  Where do we go from here?  How will we let people know that they do not have to live according to the sinful nature that will lead to death?  It all begins with the Truth!

Indescribable Love

Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” (Psalm 36:5-9)
