Perfect Timing

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless.  He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. (2 Samuel 22:31)

I love how perfect God’s timing is.  I love that I can trust He knows what’s best for me.  Just when I think I’m going to dip down in to the well of life and pull out an empty bucket.  God surprises me!  He fills my well back up.  He gives me the opportunity to seek Him, to know Him, and to live through Him.  He continues to amaze me!

I Believe

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to SAVE the world through him. (John 3:16-17)

What’s God doing in your life?

This is an important week!  It’s a week of reflection on all that Jesus did for us.  How He walked this earth and surrendered His life to death on a cross, for our sins!  Maybe you have had a tough time in the past answering this question, but this week…  I want you to really look at what God is doing.  How has the message of the cross transformed your life?  Do you remember that day that you surrendered your life to Christ?  Have you thanked God lately for His faithfulness in bringing you from the dark places of your life into the light?  Have you thanked Him for sending His Son to die for your sins?

I know this week reminds me of all that I have through my Savior!  I’m a sinner, saved by grace.  I did nothing to deserve all that I have through God’s hand of mercy.  I’m adopted as a daughter into the family of God.  All because I surrendered my life to the King of Kings.  The One who has called me by name.  The One who took time to form me in my mother’s womb.  The One who set me aside for a purpose.  The One who said that my sin would no longer separate me from His grace!  I’m walking in the abundance of who God is because of what Jesus did in my place!  I have joy, hope, peace, love, faith, and so much more because God sent His Son for me.
