Worship Surrender Jesus Christ God

Rich in Mercy

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4-5)

Please take the time today to celebrate the abundance that’s offered in this verse!  Focus on the words and find out what they mean for you.

“Because of his great love for us…”

What does it mean to be loved by God?  Do you truly understand the magnitude of His love for you?

“…God, who is rich in mercy…”

God has given you the fullness of His mercy through Jesus Christ!  Have you treasured the gift of His Son today?

“…made us alive with Christ…”

True life has come through one sacrifice!  A sacrifice unlike any other.  God has made it possible for us to live in the fullness of His grace through this sacrifice!

“…even when we were dead in our transgressions…”

God didn’t wait for us to get everything perfect and situated!  He came into our mess and offered a way out!

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith– and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)

“…it is by grace you have been saved.”

There is nothing else in this world that can save you!  God’s grace alone made a way for you to experience the abundant life!  Will you choose Him today?  Will you celebrate the gift of His Son?
