Broken Pieces Make…

 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.  One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:  ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’  Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Take time to imagine what it would have been like to be an eye witness on this crime scene.  Here Jesus is, a man without sin, healing the sick, casting out demons, feeding the hungry, teaching the lost, and those who were more concerned about the law tried to trap Him.  They didn’t like how He showed up on the scene.  They wanted to expose Him as a fraud, so they continued to scheme behind the scenes.   When Jesus silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees decided to take a shot at Him.  They even sent their very best to ask the question they thought would get Jesus into trouble. Puzzle Pieces

The Lord said, “I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1:5)

Are you waiting for God to do something in your life?  Do you see something beginning and wonder where God will go with it?  Or do you see a box of puzzle pieces just waiting for someone to help you put them together?  Maybe you have started to put the pieces together.  I know as a little girl, my family would work on big puzzles together.  We would get out the 500 or 1000 piece puzzles and put them on a special table.  We would start with the outer edge and work on it little by little.  It was a fun family project.  Often I found myself working on a little portion of the puzzle, maybe 5 to 10 pieces.  I was trying to figure out how they fit together.  It was always a fun challenge.
