Remind Me Who I Am

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (Romans 8:16-17)

There was an 80 year old missionary who was bed ridden.  For many years, he had served in China as a missionary.  One day, someone came to visit him.  The visitor expressed that he was sorry the missionary couldn’t be in China.  This was the missionary’s response…

“When I pray, all of China shakes!”

“…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
