Thais Domingos began her dance studies in classical ballet at the age of 8 at the Escola de Danca Hortensia Mollo, RJ, Brazil.
She was a soloist and principal dancer with Grupo Thalhe for 8 years and performed in several ballets such as:
- Coppelia
- Nutcracker
- Don Quixote, Paquita
- La Fille Mal Gardee
- Giselle, Le Corsaire
- La Esmeralda
- Grand Pas Classique
- and many Balanchine ballets.
Thais was a soloist with Companhia Brasileira de Ballet for 6 years, where she performed in Giselle, Paquita, and Don Quixote Suite. Thais also worked as a teacher, judge and assistant rehearsal director for 9 years, before moving to the United States.
Thais has many college degrees ranging from Graphic and Industrial Design to Business Administration and is excited to begin dancing for Relevé-tions Dance Company.
Thais Domingos will be one of our dancers who will be performing at our upcoming event with Relevé-tions Dance Company.
