It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. (Matthew 20:26-28, AMP)
Lord, please teach me what it means to be Your servant. Please give me a greater sense of humility.
Lord, please give me a servant’s heart . May I live to lift You up. May I glorify You with my thoughts, words, and actions. Lord, may I serve You with all that I am and become more available for You.
Please increase my awareness of times that You want to use me and may Your Holy Spirit speak through me. I pray that I will have the mindset of Christ, always living with an eternal perspective. May my eyes be forever fixed on eternity and may I live to hear the words, “Thy good and faithful servant.”
