Forgiven Jesus Christ Died for Me

You Are Forgiven

Therefore I tell you, her sins, many [as they are], are forgiven her—because she has loved much. But he who is forgiven little loves little. (Luke 7:47, AMPC)

Sin sick… Cursed… Wicked… Forgiven

Broken… Wounded… Battered… But forgiven

Hurt… Pain… Aches… Forgiven

My sin… Forgiven

My past… Forgiven

My mistakes… Forgiven

I serve a God who forgives!  God separates my sins as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more. I am forgiven!

Everything I have done and ever will do has been nailed to the cross on Calvary’s Hill. My Savior walked the road I could not walk. He took the sins I could not carry. He beared the weight of my ugliness. He is my everything!  Because of Jesus one time sacrifice I am forgiven. Forgiven!

This is the word I will embrace today.  I will forever be grateful to my Savior for shedding His blood on my behalf. His sacrifice frees me from my sin. His sacrifice gives me purpose!  His love stretched out from one tip of the cross to the other all to say… You are forgiven!

God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. (Psalm 103:9-12, MSG)
