Waging War

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Dear Father God, I pray that You O Lord will draw my brothers Caleb, Bart, and Mike to You.  Please do not let them leave this earth without the assurance that they will spend eternity with You when they leave.  I pray that they will have their Damascus moment and come face to face with their need for Jesus.

I pray for an intervention on their behalf.  Please do the work that only You can do in their lives.  I pray that You will soften their hearts, that their ears will open up to the message of the Gospel, and that they will one day have a testimony that advances Your purpose alone.  Lord, please show my brothers their need for You!

Lord, I pray that You will interrupt their lives with a holy eruption.  May their lives be transformed by the power of Your Word.  May they know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior one day soon.  And may they come to know how much You love them and all that You did with Your one time sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

Lord, my brothers and all those I care about are in Your hands.  You know every single lost person on my heart today.  I pray Lord that all of them will come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ.  Lord, please give me the words to speak and the patience to wait for Your transforming work in their lives.

Who is it that you are praying for?  Please feel free to leave a comment.  Let’s start praying together for salvation for those that we love.  May our prayers together move the hand of God to intervene on behalf of those we greatly care about.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6, NASB)

Read more on this in John 6:41-51.

Remember,

“God, not people, plays the most active role in salvation… no one can believe in Jesus without God’s help.” (Life Application Bible study note)
