Thanksgiving God Thankful

Thank you Lord!

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4)

Dear Father God,

I want to thank you for this new day.  This new opportunity to serve you and know you.  Thank you for refreshing my mercy bank every morning I wake up.  I’m so blessed to be serving the Living God, who sent His Son to die for me.

Lord, thank you for my strong, god-fearing, and hard-working husband.  His love truly amazes me.  I’m blessed to be his wife and take this journey through life with him.

Lord, thank you for my two precious boys Zion and Gabriel.  I continue to be amazed that you have entrusted me with the gift of their sweet lives.  Thank you for making me a mom and giving me the best boys a mom could ever ask for!

Lord, thank you for my family.  Thank you for my parents who taught me many great things growing up.  I treasure the gift of their love and praise you for giving me an opportunity to flourish in it.  Thank you for my siblings.  Each one is a huge blessing from you.  I love Caleb, Rachel, Abigail, and Bart.  They have made life fun, interesting, exciting, and full of wonder at times.  I love them for teaching me how to be a good sister and have fun in life.

Thank you for my nieces and nephews.  I can’t thank you enough for them.  Each one shows me You in a different way.  Each one reminds me that I am loved by my Father.  They teach me how to have child like faith and remind me that even in my mistakes, You still love me.

Thank you for my extended family, my in-laws, my sibling’s spouses, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Each one has blessed me in some way.  It’s amazing how much I have learned through the gift of those You have placed in my life.  Thank You Father!

Thank you for those who have mentored me in my walk with You!  They have taught me how to live out my faith!  They have helped me understand what my gifts and talents are, and how to best use them for Your glory!

Thank you for my church and the wonderful group of people in my Bible Fellowship class. These people teach me every day what it means to be the body of Christ.  I’m blessed to be a part of such a beautiful community of believers!

Thank you for my readers!  Lord, I pray a special blessing for each one of them.  Without them writing would be pretty unnecessary.  Thank you for their endless support and encouragement!

Thank you for my health!  I’m strengthened daily by You.  I see that my energy is coming back and that I have a renewed determination.  Thank you for making it possible for me to be free from medication and live a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you for the Word of God that continues to transform my thinking!  Thank you for the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus on the cross.  I will never be able to thank you enough for the work You have done in my life.

Thank you for my arms, legs, hands, and feet.  They all work wonderfully and I pray they bring you glory!  Thank you for my sense of smell, sight, hearing, touch, and taste.  Thank you for giving me a new way to experience Your love and know You on a daily basis!

Thank you for clean running water, a bed to sleep in, a roof over my head, clean sheets, a pillow to sleep on, clothes in the closet, food in the refrigerator, fresh coffee in the morning, a working vehicle, air conditioning for hot summers, and a heater for cold winters.  I have never had to worry about where I will lay my head at night.  I’ve never had to wonder if I can take a clean shower in the morning.  I’ve never had to go and wait in line to draw water from a well.  I’ve never been without shelter.  I’ve always had family and friends!  Lord, for all this and so much more…  I am immensely grateful.

Thank you for being ever faithful to me!  I praise you daily for the work of your hands!  Please help me to never take for granted all that I have been given.

I love you Lord,

God has blessed my life in so many ways. I could fill pages. Thank you God for a family that loves me unconditionally. A husband that has a sincere heart for the Lord. Beautiful and healthy babies that fill my every day with love and laughter. God thank you for the difficult times and difficult people. They have stretched me and matured me and I am grateful! Most of all, thank you for what you have and will do for me. I am undeserving but ever so thankful.

      Hi Kathy,

It is always a blessing to hear your heart. Praise God for the work He continues to do in your life. I loved that you thanked God for the difficult times and difficult people. I think we so often forget to thank Him for these things. But it’s during those moments that we are strengthened to do God’s work. May God’s heart of love continue to beat in you and may God continue to use you for His glory.

As I woke up this morning in extreme pain, I thought to myself “I know God wants me to praise Him during good times and bad times, and I do thank you God for waking me up this morning” Even though the pain continued till mid day, He comforted me and He gave me his strength to continue throughout my day with a good attitude. As I end my day..I say to myself, “What would I have done without Christ??” I praise God for salvation! Thank you Sarah for sharing 🙂

      Hi Anna,

Praise God for the strength to get through the day. That’s so awesome! I pray that you will continue to be strengthened all throughout this week and may you experience God’s peace through the pain. Most of all, I pray that God will heal your body. May you experience the healing talked about in Psalm 103.

“Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits– who forgives all your sins and HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” ~Psalm 103:2-5

Thank you lord, for standing by your word, you said you will supply all my needs, you said no weapon formed against me shall prosper, you said ask and ye shall receive, you said knock and the door shall be open, you said I shall inherit the blessings of abraham, you said you will never leave nor forsake me, you said you will make my enemies my foot stool, you said in due season I will reap a harvest, you said that I am the head and not the tail, you said all things work together for good, you said if 2 or 3 touching and agree it shall come to pass, you said you are the alpha and the omega, you said pray and you will hear me, , well God, all I want to say is ” Thank you for showing me your Glory”…
