God Strength Bible Jesus Hope

Strength through Scripture ~ Part 2

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Strength through Scripture ~ Part 1

May you find strength for your current circumstances through God’s Word.  May your hope be renewed as you trust in the Lord.  And may you find shelter from the storm through God’s comforting words!

The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save.  He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”  (Zephaniah 3:17)

God is with you.  He is mighty to save you from the things that cause a mess in your life.  He takes great delight in your willingness to serve Him through this.  He will quiet you with His love and rejoice over you with singing.

“I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”  (John 15:1)

Remember how important it is to abide in the Lord.  Stay connected to the Truth.  Hide God’s Word in your heart, so that you can bear the fruit of God’s love.

“Therefore we do not lose heart.  Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”  (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

No matter what, always remember that all of this is temporary. Fix your eyes on eternity and know that God has great things in store for you.  These times of testing and trials will not last forever!

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Always remember that God’s power is made perfect in your weakness.  His grace will always be ENOUGH for you!

“And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  (Romans 8:28)

God will work all of this out for His good.  He will use it in your life.  This is a promise you can daily cling to!

Dear Father God, Thank You for every promise in Your Word.  I pray that You will strengthen those who are hurting today.  May they find comfort in Your Word and abide in Your Truth.  May their hope be renewed as they fix their eyes on You.  May You be the One to give a peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Strengthened through the Word of God,
