No More Worries
My newest book Victorious Mindset will be coming out this week. The official release date is April 14th. To celebrate this new book release, I would like to share a few devotionals from the book. This book is a 30 day devotional sharing how to have a mind set on Christ and be victorious over the things that we face in life. The Victorious Living Collection would not be complete without sharing how to have a mind set on Christ. I continue to enjoy this series of books so much and am so appreciative to God for giving me each book to write. Thank you God! I pray that these books will bring You glory and lift the name of Jesus high!
No Worries
But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7–8)
Live It Out
I love the imagery that this verse brings to life in my mind. I want to be that tree planted by the water. I want to have this kind of confidence in the Lord.
I want my roots to go down deep in to the soil of God’s grace. I want my life to exhibit a state of fruitfulness that comes from staying attached to the Vine of Life (John 15:5). I want my mind to produce thoughts that are pleasing to the Lord. I desire to place my worries behind me and live by faith as I move forward in life.
I will be blessed as I place my full confidence, my full attention, and all my thoughts on the Lord. I can trust God and know that He has my best interest in mind. I can place my full confidence in His promises and know that He will never fail me. I’m blessed when I choose to trust in God’s unfailing love and remember that He is always faithful!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5–6)
Pray It Through
Dear Father God, I pray that I will be this tree planted by the water. May I continue to place my full trust and confidence in You. I know that Your Word is true. I know that you will never fail me. I know that You will always be faithful. I pray that even in the driest times of my life, I will produce fruit for the kingdom! May the branches of my life truly lift up to honor You!
