Never say Never
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Today, I celebrate my 6 month anniversary off of medication. I celebrate the fact that there is only one “never” that God believes in. You see, I have heard the word never many times when it comes to my health. I heard that I would never come off of medication, never be seizure free, never be migraine free, never have full rotation in my neck after surgery, and never enjoy some of the things that I enjoyed prior to my neck surgery. I’ve learned that God only believes in one never. He says, “HE will NEVER leave nor forsake me.” This is the only “never” that exists in God’s dictionary. He blows all the other “Nevers” to smithereens.
Have you been facing a situation that people are saying “never” to? Have you heard the phrase “that will never happen, that’s not possible, and keep dreaming.” Well, I’m hear to tell you that there is no “Never” that God can’t break through. He will come through victoriously through every “never” that this world places on Him. Put your trust in God and remember that He has plans for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. This is the only “never” that HE believes in.
What “nevers” do you need to hand over to God? For those of you, who need some encouragement… please feel free to drop me a line. I will be hear to walk you through your journey with the Lord. Trust me, I know what it’s like to face a “Never” and watch God come through victoriously. Let’s watch God do the same for you through prayer and obedience to His Word. Let’s break through the world’s “Nevers” together!
Dear Father God, I’m so glad that You don’t fall prey to the “Nevers” of this world. You have conquered every “Never” and made it possible for me to have victory through Your Son. I praise You with all that I am and celebrate the gift of being free from medication. Thank You for the work that You are doing in my life! I continue to celebrate Your goodness.
