My God is Faithful
For the word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness. (Psalm 33:4, AMP)
As a little girl, I was blessed to give my life to the Lord. I loved everything about God straight from the beginning. My parents often tell me stories of the people I would share Jesus with as a young girl. Honestly, that’s all I can ever remember wanting to do with my life. I want people to know about this God that I serve. This amazing God who created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). The same God who formed me in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). The one who loved me before I ever knew how to love Him (1 John 4:10). The One who wrote a beautiful love letter to me (Zephaniah 3:17). The One who sent a Savior to be sacrificed for my sins (1 John 3:16). The One who made it possible for me to spend eternity in Heaven (John 3:16). Oh, how amazing this God is. The One True God. The only One who has ever loved me enough to send a sacrifice for my sins.
God’s grace has truly amazed me over the years. I can tell you that I’ve had a lot of bumps and bruises in my life with God, but I can’t imagine my life without Him. Life has not always been easy. In fact, I can remember many rough times. But the one thing that is true about every rough time that I have been through is that God has always been faithful (1 Corinthians 10:13). He has never let me down! His track record with me is perfect!
Honestly, His timing has been a little off or so I think anyways. He seldom does things in the way I think they should be done and never in the time frame I thought was best. God continues to surprise me daily. He continues to remind me how great His love is (1 John 3:1).
I have come to know God through His Word. Every time I read the Bible another truth is revealed to me. Here are some of the things I’ve learned… I’ve learned that He is strong when my strength runs out (2 Corinthians 12:9). I’ve learned that He is my refuge when the storms hit hard (Psalm 91:1-2). I’ve learned that God loves me even through my most unlovable moments. I’ve learned that God’s love is patient, it’s kind, it’s generous, it’s forgiving, and always available. God has never run out of love for me. And He never runs out of love for you (Psalm 36:5).
Yes, I can promise you that some days in this Christian journey will be tough. There will be days that you want to give up! I’ve been there! I know those days well. But I also promise that God will sustain you (Psalm 55:22), He will lift you up on eagles wings (Isaiah 40:29-31). He will never let the righteous fall (Psalm 37:24). He will protect you (Proverbs 2:7-8) and He will see you through even your darkest hour (Psalm 27:1-3). I don’t know what you’re waiting for right now, but I promise God will come through (Philippians 4:19). He will come through in an amazing way! He will not fail you! You can trust that our GOD WILL ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL!
I have placed some verses in here for you to look up. I promise that 10 minutes of looking through these verses will change your perspective. These verses will encourage you and teach you more about God’s heart for you. I pray that you will get into the Bible and find out what God has for you there. He will be waiting for you!
Dear Father God, I pray that someone will be encouraged by these words today. May You remind each one how special they are in You. May each reader be strengthened, may their hope be renewed, and may they place their trust fully in You. I pray that these readers will experience Your faithfulness for many years to come!
