Forgiven Loved Jesus Redemption Eternity

I Stand Forgiven

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:11-12

As I celebrate my birthday, I think of how much God has done in my life and how much I’ve been forgiven for.  I’m blessed to be a child of God, living for a Kingdom purpose, with Jesus Christ as my fixed point of reference, and the Holy Spirit as my constant guide.  Yesterday, I turned 36 years old.  I celebrate the many years that God has given me knowing Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  Truly nothing in life has ever compared to this!  So as I sat and reflected on these thoughts I wrote the following devotional.  I hope you enjoy it!

– Sin sick, Cursed, WickedForgiven.
– Broken, Wounded, BatteredBut forgiven
– Hurt, Pain, Aches... Forgiven.
– My sinForgiven.
– My pastForgiven.
– My mistakesForgiven.

I serve a God who forgives!  My God separates my sins as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more.

I stand forgiven!

Everything I have done and ever will do has been nailed to the cross on Calvary’s Hill. My Savior walked the road I could not walk. He took the sins I could not carry. He beared the weight of my ugliness. He is my everything!  Because of Jesus one time sacrifice I am forgiven.

Forgiven!

This is the word I will embrace today.  I will forever be grateful to my Savior for shedding His blood on my behalf. His sacrifice frees me from my sin. His sacrifice gives me purpose!  His love stretched out from one tip of the cross to the other all to say…

Sarah you are forgiven!

Today, if you have not known this forgiveness I plead with you to bring your sins to Jesus. May you find that His sacrifice was more than enough for your sins. Run to Him!  Embrace who He is and allow Him take you by the hand into a grand adventure. An adventure that ends only with a new beginning in eternity.
