First

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:33-34, AMP)

This week, I choose to put God first.  And not just first.  I want Him to be at the center of everything I do and say.  May my life revolve around him.  May I truly keep him first in all things and in every way possible.

Lord, I seek to put you first this week.  I aim at and strive after your excellence.  Please help me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.  May I live fully for your purpose alone.  May I seek after the things in your kingdom alone!  Lord, have all of me!  I’m yours from now until forever more.  I pray that I can be used to advance your glory.

In God’s Grip of Grace,
