Always Seeking

So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened. (Luke 11:9-10, AMP)

Lord, I see through this that I’m to crave and desire the things of You.  To aim and strive for Your best in my life.  And to knock at doors of opportunity, not ignore them.  When I come to You to ask, seek, and knock… then I will receive, find, and notice the door open to me.

I must step out in faith every day and watch You come through in extraordinary ways.  It’s a sure thing that You will come through.  It’s a promise to me and I cling to it with all my heart.

So today, Lord, I ask to be empowered by Your Holy Spirit.  I seek to know Your purpose for my life, and I knock at every door You put before me.  May I find many opportunities to glorify You today!
