A Heart that Pleases God
It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man. (Matthew 15:11)
Lord, please help me to be ever conscious of what I’m putting into my heart. So that I can please You with the words that leave my mouth. I pray for more of You in my life. More of Your power, strength, guidance, love, peace, hope, patience, and Truth.
Lord, I pray that You will increase in me and that I will decrease. May my life be more honoring to You every day that I live. I pray that by the time I leave this earth there will be nothing left of me, but only You. May my desires, deeds, acts, talents, and treasures be ashes and may You be all that’s left in me!
Lord, I desire to have a heart sold out to You. A heart that is clean, a heart that is steadfast, and a heart that beats for You alone. Please give me the wisdom to know what doesn’t please You and to daily examine what I put in to my heart. May the words that leave my mouth be pleasing in Your sight O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart. Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14

What does it look like to have a heart that pleases God? How can we better surrender ourselves to His purpose? How can we pray through the hard times and live more intentionally for the King? I would love to hear your heart on these questions.
What is God showing you to pray for? How can I better be in prayer for you? Let’s pray together for a mighty move of God and watch Him go to work on our behalf.
